On the occasion of World Recycling Day, we would like to put on record our commitment to the circular economy by encouraging the consumption of recycled and recyclable plastic. The use of R-PET, the reduction of microns of packaging and the segregation of plastics, among other measures, has allowed us to generate in our company, in 2019, a saving equivalent to 8 million plastic bags per year. This is our contribution to the saving of almost 58,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent in 2019 that we have avoided in the national meat industry as a whole with our saving measures.
